“International Science Youth Forum @ Singapore 2010” ( ISYF 2010 ) adalah satu program antarabangsa yang dianjurkan oleh Hwa Chong Institution dan Nanyang Technological University. Ia merupakan program tahunan sekolah tersebut. Tujuan program ini diadakan adalah untuk membolehkan pengwujudan suatu landasan berprofil tinggi bagi pelajar-pelajar sains di Asia dalam menjalin hubungan di antara satu sama lain. Ia juga memberi peluang kepada pelajar berdialog dengan pemenang-pemenang hadiah nobel dan para saintis terkemuka di peringkat antara bangsa.

Forum ini telah dianjurkan buat pertama kalinya pada tahun 2009 dan Malaysia diwakili oleh MRSM Langkawi serta SMJK Tinggi Chung Ling, Pulau Pinang. Tahun 2010 merupakan tahun kedua dan The Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK), Malaysia bertuah kerana telah dipilih oleh pihak penganjur. Sebanyak 12 buah negara telah menyertainya iaitu Jepun, Cina, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Filipina, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapura, dan Malaysia. Peluang yang diberikan kepada MCKK menyertai forum tersebut. tidak dilepaskan dan wakil MCKK iaitu 2 orang pelajar dan seorang guru telah mengikuti semua aktiviti yang dirancang dengan jayanya.

Penyertaan MCKK dalam ISYF 2010 telah mewujudkan ruang dan peluang kepada para pelajar dan guru untuk bertukar-tukar pendapat dan pengalaman serta berkongsi pengetahuan ke arah melatih pelajar untuk menjadi seorang saintis yang berkaliber.

Faedah-faedah yang diperoleh:

MCKK sebagai kolej terunggul di Malaysia mempunyai matlamat untuk cemerlang dalam bidang kurikulum dan kokurikulum sejajar dengan Falsafah Pendidikan Negara iaitu untuk melahirkan pelajar yang seimbang dalam setiap aspek.

Selaras dengan matlamat program iaitu perkongsian ilmu berkaitan sains, program ini telah memberi peluang kepada pelajar MCKK untuk melibatkan diri dalam program antarabangsa yang membolehkan mereka berinteraksi, berfikir secara global dan mengaplikasikan pengetahuan sains yang dipelajari. Pelajar juga dapat membentangkan penyelidikan mereka kepada orang lain.

Bagi guru pula, melalui program ini telah memberi peluang untuk memperoleh idea baru dan kesedaran bagaimana pembelajaran dan pengajaran sains perlu dijalankan dalam usaha menarik minat pelajar ke arah mendalami sains.

More broadly, physic is all about how the world behave...

The scope of physics are too broad....if we could everly understand...our surrounding are full of many physics theories... sound great huh? ^^

Hello everyone!!! This is our first post ever in this forum...hehe...Today at 23.41pm, haha forgot to introduce ourselves....this is cikgu kamariah's first daughters a.k.a the twins (Salimah and Salihah)...Well, our mother gives us responsibility to manage her blog..lol..i guess she doesn't have a lot of time to manage it herself..haha..now back to the main topic..this blog is mainly about physic (the subject my mother teaches)...besides that, we also include some stories about our family..hehe....ok....that's it from now....we'll post next time....see u next time!!!
